Turner Mountain by CameronIf you are looking for a change from your normal ski experience, try skiing at Turner Mountain just north of Libby, Montana. The mountain has one chair lift that conveys you to 25 ski runs that are mostly intermediate to advanced. If you are a beginner, get off at the midway shack to ski down Jeep Road.

Turner Mountain ski area is open Friday through Sunday and Holidays. You can rent the ski hill for your group or company on Monday through Thursday except for holidays.

Bruce Zwang is the president of the non-profit organization that runs Turner Mountain. He does it out of love for the locals and the area. The mountain opened in 1961 with a T-bar that took 18 minutes to ride all the way up the mountain. Now they have it easy with a double chair lift.

Tickets run $30 per day for adults and $25 for seniors and juniors. You can view a trail map, current snow conditions, and ski rental information at Turner Mountain Ski Area. Click on the red icon in the map below for driving directions.
